The Motorola ATRIX 4G is one of the world’s fastest smartphone, literally. With a 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor, it’s a screamer. So much so, it can power a full netbook-like laptop accessory. As far as other specifications go, it’s one of the few Android handsets to feature a whopping 1GB of RAM. Rounding out the feature set is a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and 720p video recording, the first qHD (quarter HD) display, second microphone for noise cancellation, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, front-facing video camera, HDMI port, and a fingerprint scanner for security that doubles as the on/off button.

The device feels solid and well built. It’s a tad bit thick, but since it’s nicely rounded on the edges, it feels thinner and more easy to hold, though the phone is incredibly slippery due to the matte black plastic casing. On the front of the ATRIX you’ll find the front-facing video camera in the upper left in addition to the proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and notification LED on the upper right. Besides the four touch-sensitive Android menu keys on the bottom of the front, it’s pretty clean. Switching to the left side of the handset and you will find a microUSB port followed by a mini-HDMI port, on the right side of the phone there’s a volume up and down rocker. The on / off button is sneakily integrated into the fingerprint scanner on the top but towards the rear of the ATRIX, Moving to the back: you will find the 5 megapixel camera and LED flash, a reasonably cool carbon fiber-esque pattern on the rear battery door, and the rear external speaker on the bottom of the phone.

The 4-inch display on the ATRIX packs a whopping 960 x 540 pixels into what Motorola is calling a qHD display. It’s a little odd that the display on the Motorola DROID X actually looks better than the qHD display, in terms of clarity. Colors, however, look great and the panel is very bright and evenly lit. The screen on the ATRIX also fares very well in the touch sensitivity department with a solid and reliable capacitative touch screen.

The Motorola ATRIX 4G runs a version of the love-it-or-hate-it MOTOBLUR UI. Things run fast, smooth, and effortless, no doubt in thanks to that dual-core CPU, but again, the software UI on here isn’t that big of a deal, even if you are an Android purist.

Talking on the ATRIX was excellent. Calls were very clear with the internal ear speaker sounding very natural, and extremely loud. Noise cancellation also performed well in noisy environments helping people on the other line to hear more clearly. You also have the ability to add a number right from the dialer to your contact list, and you have a voice command button right next to that. We can’t remember if this happened on other Motorola devices, but when you go into contacts in the phone app, you’re presented with only your direct contacts in your synced address books, not the ones that are scattered about the actual contacts app.

The speaker on the ATRIX performed very well in tests. Music played back reasonably loud without much distortion, though it lacked that low end punch. The speakerphone also performed great, projecting audio loud and clear.

The battery life reports seems to be pretty great. It’s easily on par or even a level better than other Android phones. When tested we don’t do too much calling, but downloading, installing and using apps, email, browsing, Twitter, Facebook, and more.

Motorola q8 (GSM) is soul-mate of Motorola q8 (CDMA). Phone body is almost 100% same but the color is totally different. If Motorola q8 CDMA using silver color as main and black color as keypad. Motorola q8 GSM using black color as main and Silver color as keypad.

Operating system also different, In Motorola q8 CDMA it’s using windows mobile 5.0. Motorola q8 GSM using windows mobile 6.0 (upgradable to WM 6.1) You can search on google the step to upgrade it at your own risk. If you’re asking which one better of course WM 6.0 better than WM5 when I tested both phone battery there is a lot difference around 35%-50%. Wm6.0 also more responsive than WM5.

When test motorola q8 GSM stability I found sometimes phones hard to dettect an provider signal. I’m nor sure this is bug from software or hardware but sometimes I can’t send short messages to my friends when I’m in Mall or busy place.

Morotola q8 GSM is an smartphone for everyone need an personal touch on it. You can change almost everything including fonts on this phone. If you need more you can go to windows mobile app store to find more software to make this phone fit your needs.

About the Internet, Motorola Q8 GSM is just standard like cheap phone out there, It’s using EDGE and not support for 3G network. Just there is one thing I love from this phone, It’s have an automatic wizard on Internet settings. You don’t need to ask or looking for information to get connected on Internet.

Camera is standard 1.3 Mega-pixels (it’s same like Motorola Q8 CDMA). If you need TV or WI-FI you can get SD cards support for this. This phone is recommended for student or professional which need and personal digital asistant to help their daily activity.

The Motorola DROID really set the bar high for Android devices. Since then, Android devices have been coming out fast and furious, and there hasn’t really been a true successor to the original DROID. The DROID 2, which is the newest addition to the DROID family is almost identical to the original DROID, but packs a few surprises.

Internal upgrades

Motorola really bumped up the specs on the DROID 2. First off, the DROID 2 is now powered by a 1Ghz TI OMAP processor and it also has 512MB of RAM. The DROID 2 comes with 16GB (8GB internal + 8GB microSD preinstalled) straight out of the box. Of course, you can always bump that up to 40GB total if you’re willing to buy a 32GB microSD card.

Hardware

The design of the DROID 2 is very similar to the original DROID, but there are a few minor design changes. There’s a plastic chrome trim around the display. The back is a soft-touch plastic finish, and it’s actually blue. I’m not sure how I feel about it being blue, but it’s growing on me as time passes.

In the left side, there’s a microUSB port for charging and sync. Beside that, there’s a tiny LED light, lights up when the phone is plugged in. In the top, there is the 3.5mm headphone jack for music, and a power/lock button. In the front, there’s an earpiece, a LED notification light, and a bunch of sensors. The 3.7-inch, 854 x 480 display is almost identical to the original DROID, and it’s still crisp, clear, and straight-up awesome. Below the display is four touch-sensitive buttons: Menu, Home, Back, and Search.

Keyboard

DROID 2 keyboard is dramatic improvement better than original DROID. The keys are much more domed, and instead of the d-pad, they put in directional keys.

Software

The DROID 2 runs Android 2.2 Froyo with the custom Motorola skin found on the DROID X. Software-wise, it’s pretty similar to the DROID X, except for some of the features that Froyo brings to the table. The DROID 2 comes bundled with a few third-party applications, such as Blockbuster, Kindle, NFS Shift, and Quickoffice.

The DROID 2 comes pre-loaded with Voice Actions, which is basically Voice Search on steroids. Voice Actions is absolutely amazing, and you can pretty much do anything with just your voice. You can do everything by voice, from calling someone, to opening a webpage.

The DROID 2 comes preloaded with Adobe Flash Player 10.1. Seeing full Flash on a mobile device is glorious. Most of the Flash content I viewed were playable, both games and videos worked without a glitch. However, it is a battery drainer, and it does eat up a ton of CPU.

Camera

The DROID 2 is equipped with a 5MP camera with a dual-LED flash and autofocus. You can set different Scenes and different Effects for photos. I noticed that the camera refused to focus on certain items, but when it’s focused, the picture quality is really nice.

720p is becoming the standard on high-end smartphones, so I was a little disappointed when I saw that the max video resolution on the DROID 2 is 720 x 480, also known as 480p. Besides that disappointment, video shot on the device was decent.

Battery Life

The DROID 2 is powered by a 1390mAH battery. Battery life is excellent, pulling me through a day of moderate usage. However, if you’re watching Flash videos all day and streaming YouTube while using 3G Mobile Hotspot — you need to pick up one of those spare batteries. Or you’ll need a power port right next to you.

Do big with mini, This slogan was adopted for this product. Samsung galaxy mini is middle class phone but it’s actually fit for people needs this day.

The key for this phone is smart operating system provided by google, code name Android 2.2 (Froyo). Making this phone sold very fast and people hunting for it because the price is actually cheaper than what it offers.

With 3 Megapixel camera you can take a picture or recording video anywhere within good quality result.

The second important key on this phone is this phone already supported HSDPA with 7.2Mbps downstream. This feature was great! but if you’re live in Indonesia or in country with suck internet connection don’t hope to much to gain this rate..

Wifi, bluetooth, and USB cable is the connection you can used to communicate using galaxy mini. I really hate when there is no infrared device on this phone making me low the score for this phone.

Touchscreen was great. It’s including SWYPE which can detects what words you try to write. When I’m compared galaxy mini with China replica phone there is a lot difference on touchscreen. China phone not response fast as Galaxy mini.

Speaking about the processor, samsung claimed this phone running multi-tasking fast with 600mHz processor. I think this not really good, many motorola phone offers faster processor.

Battery quality was great, when idle galazy mini can life for 7 days, when making a call it can life for 7-9 hours depend on signal quality.

More Samsung Galaxy Images.

This Motorola might old for some people, Anyway I still not found there is any CDMA phone in market better than this Motorola Q8. This Motorola Q8 are using Windows Mobile 5.0 completed with infrared and blue-tooth. With only 750.000 IDR to 1.100.000 IDR you can have this smart phone! (cheap but really useful).

On the left side you will find Micro-SD slot (up to 4GB), infrared and mini USB. On the right phone there is scroll button and undo button. On the top there is earphone port. Motorola Q8 are fully QWERTY button, battery is li-ion 1,130 mAH you can find extended battery on eBay (recommended).

Inside Motorola Q8 there is standard application, this is included: sms and email, Internet explorer, windows media player for mobile, task scheduler, etc. You can buy and install more application on this Motorola Q8 as long app are compatible with windows mobile 5.0 example facade, java emulator, candlelight, facebook for windows mobile and many more, check the store in here.

When I try this Motorola Q8 performance I’m slightly disappointed I think this phone would be faster. But it was wrong, this phone has delay 1-3 seconds (depend on how much app you’re running in background). Anyway it not really interfere.

Motorola Q8 cdma are ev-do already, you can enjoy the fast speed experience on Internet using this smart phone as modem. Motorola Q8 is ev-do rev.0 mean the maximum downstream is 2.4Mbps.

Camera included in this Motorola Q8 is 1.3 megapixel, included flash. When I tested it inside room the picture quality are little blurry, but when I tested it on sunny day (outside) the picture quality are great! so this camera is just standard, don’t hope to much.

What bad about this Motorola Q8? There is only one I think… this phone is using injected number, mean we can’t change phone number easily like another (mostly) Nokia phone. This might not a big problem for people in good country out there, but in here this is bad because not every operator would allowed inject system.

Motorola Q8 Specification:

Network System : Inject CDMA (800 / 1900 MHz)

Display Type : TFT (Thin Film Transistor) technology

Display Size : 320 x 240 pixels, 65K TFT

Display Features : QWERTY keyboard, 5-way navigation button and thumb wheel

Ringtones Type : iMelody, MIDI, MP3, AAC, WAV, WMA, WAX, QCELP

Bluetooth : Yes

Infrared port : Yes

USB : Yes

Operating System : Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0

Camera : 1.3 mega pixel camera with flash

Other Features : PIM functionality with Picture Caller ID Advanced

speech recognition and speakerphone

Battery : 1130 mAh Li-Ion battery

Battery Stand-by : 200 hours

Battery Talk time : 4 hours

I would give score 7.5 from 10, for Motorola Q8 CDMA

Fist time I see this phone just “Wow” This is an Amazing phone with Nokia quality. After long time I have never seen Nokiacreated improvement for their product, but after found this one I’m actually interesting and might buy one Nokia x5 for myself.

For me personally this phone is good enough but I’m just curious WHY Nokia NEVER built an high quality phone with all function people need this day! This might caused by market? hehehe.. If this phone built with all function this day I think this phone will be success on market.

Good point about Nokia X5 is this phone combination of CDMA and GSM network. This day many other product from China with similar specification come to the market and success, But if they looking for quality of course Nokia will be recommended to buy. IF Nokia know what their costumer want Nokia will rules cellular phone market. Another point on this phone is “Enough”. What “enough” mean in my opinion? this phone has many function for high class phone this day but still there is some missing! said, TV tuner and Infrared. This day some people (including me hehe) want this function available on 1(one) phone.

Nokia x5 Style is great! qwerty phone this day is trend, no more 12 key phone will be sold this day. Battery performance on Nokia x5 is great also, it’s been designed to standby for 16 days without need to re-charge! just WOW. Music and Internet application already included, the screen is standard 320×240, I think it’s enough. Camera is 5 mega-pixels with flash, I think people already know which phone this day build camera with quality so i will not commenting for this function. Wifi and bluetooth for communication, it’s just enough.

What bad about Nokia x5? after reading this phone full specification I only found 3 bad point.

No Tv-Tuner… bye bye for TV mania.

No Infrared, This day many way of communication needed! included infrared I think?

Not support 3G/3.5G/EVDO/4G.

That’s it good point and bad point about this Nokia x5. Price in the Indonesian market should be around Rp 1.900.000 – Rp 2.300.000 It’s cheap if compared with other phone with quality and specification. Here is Nokia X5 full specification:

Here in my country since last two years ago we got a big flood of china product. This is the one that was booming in my country, because this is the first qwerty phone including wi-fi and television with cheap price! it’s really cheap if you compared with branded cellphone.

This day many of us has following the new trends. Cellphone with qwerty keypad mostly better than classic keypad. Many China product is copy/replica from another brand, I seen many replica in here from blackberry to Nokia. This spc boss-1000 style is copy from Nokia E71. Ok let’s take a look more deeper on this item.

First the looks, this phone absolutely beauty. Because it was copy from Nokia e71 mostly we familiar with this style. The case was made from plastic and some chrome steel (battery case). This combination make this phone looks elegant.

Network, This phone can using two active GSM card (double GSM) with frequency 850/900/1800/1900 MHz. You can use this phone in every country that supporting this frequency.

Keypad absolutely trendy, It’s full qwerty keypad giving this phone got a score plus. This day many of users using their cellphone for browsing on Internet or open WAP site, this qwerty keypad help them navigate easily. Anyway if you compared spc keypad with the real Nokia e71 keypad this spc boss-1000 keypad is harder than e71.

Screen, 2.2″ TFT LCD (wide screen) it’s big enough to watching television or video in this phone. The brightness is excellent! it’s looks very clear.

Camera, This spc boss-1000 has 2 camera. First on the front phone the resolution maximum is 1280×960 anyway some people reporting it’s actually only 640×480 (VGA) quality is standard and little blurry. The second camera is on back phone, maximum resolution is 1600×1200 it’s also has flash to make the second camera giving the best result. Here is some photos result from Spc Boss-100 Camera:

Front Camera

Back Camera

Memory, Mostly cell phone giving only small memory on their package. But SPC is better it has 128MB internal memory with expandable maximum 16GB with t-flash or micro-sd card.

Connectivity, This Spc boss-100 has data cable, wi-fi, and bluetooth. Badly it was not build with infrared to make connectivity on this phone become completed solution for mobile access. After some test all of this device working smoothly wi-fi can detected signal from 100 meters far away.

Chipset, Actually I don’t know how about this spc boss-1000 CPU clock, but in their package they say it was using faster chipset for better performance. In result after some test this phone actually faster than older Nokia N series. If you change menu or playing some java games or open application it was running very smoothly.

Extra. TV, radio, and java. When you bored you can watch local television in your area the quality is depend on signal near your area. Bored with television? there is radio. Still bored? there is java you can download and play some java games on this phone. This java also can be used for any application which based on java example: ebuddy, opera mini, etc.

Here is some photos of spc boss-1000:

Multi-platform handheld gaming entertainment station, which is often lovingly called the Delightfully Small (DS) gaming entertainment system.

Remember all those classic video games from the 80′s era? Nintendo, Sega, Super Nintendo, Neo-Geo and Capcom from the dawn of console gaming? Now you can play them again in an easy to use hand held form factor! The CVFH-N03-4G is the portable emulator system we have all been waiting for, it comes with a proper control pad and buttons along with a huge 4 GB internal memory! Capable of storing thousands of cool videogame ROMS from the most popular 8-bit and 16-bit systems, this ultra-fun device is capable of keeping even the most demanding gamer entertained for the next ten millenniums.

While this is a great portable game system, the fun just doesn’t stop there, because this unit is also an excellent portable media player. Plug in a mini-SD card or transfer media from your computer and you can quickly be enjoying movies and music on the go. The number of video and audio formats you can play is simply amazing (MP3, MPEG4, FLAC, WMV, and more), making this unit way better than the equivalent “name brand” units on the market today for playing your favorite digital media files. Everyone has seen those media players on the marketplace today called “MP5 player”, well this one is so good we should be calling it an MP10 player!

After tested it myself this product really have a good batteries, it can run using battery up to 8 hours!, really great when you bored this gadget can make you smiling back remember that 80′s games. Anyway I know there is another portable system called, SNES portable or SEGA portable, but they all actually is using real machine and you need that OLD Cartridge games! well…… the problem is not hard to find that cartridge today, it also might really not cheap for you pocket.

Using this Multi Platform Handheld Gaming Entertainment Station you don’t need to buy any game to play it. You can downloaded some from internet and or buy in DVD package! the you’re ready to play! with mini SD card slot make this gadget become the best when you need more space to handle your games, mp3, or movie files.

I really recommended this product to all of you who want to play old platform usually you play or for your children gifts! I sell this product for only $100 really cheap! (not included shipping fees, I can ship to worldwide! when you interested to buy it in single or bulk just email admin[at]technoreviews.net)
