With a harden body, Nikon AW100 activity intended for outdoor photography in all conditions.

AW100 follow in the footsteps of other camera vendors who have had at least one camera, in this category where they rely on waterproof, shockproof and freezeproof. The best feature that deserve the highlights of the camera with price USD $379 is the GPS feature.

GPS allows users to triangulate on the map to determine where they shoot the object last time. In addition to GPS, the camera is also equipped with a compass. Nikon also pinned the Action Button on the AW100 to allow users to navigate the menu even though he was wearing gloves.

With the Action Button, users simply set its Buton on the side of the camera and he’ll be able to operate the menu with just a swing, instead of having to squeeze a mini-sized buttons. Quoted from ABCNews, Nikon Coolpix AW100 present in the market with a choice of orange, black and blue.

AW 100 Basic features :

Resolution 16MP

Measuring 3-inch LCD

ISO up to 3200

1080 HD video recording capability

Hold the rock to a height of 5 feet

Last week ago I was hunting in some online store to find a new digital camera for myself. I’m looking for digital camera under $100 (just used to write review only, not pro). After research I’m interesting with Samsung ES10 black, It’s looks like an elegant digital camera so I try to buy It.

After 2 days waiting this package coming to my home. I start to open the box to know what inside this package. I got manual book, Samsung ES10 cd driver, warranty card, data cable, 2x AA battery, and of course Samsung ES10 digital camera. Where is my MMC bonus?

When first time I touch this digital camera on my hand an “elegant” idea coming to my mind. Yup, it’s good looking camera with black color, I love it! (don’t know why I love black color gadget haha)

Samsung ES10 is standard digital camera. Since I’m not professional I think this device enough for me to take some pictures around me *lol*. Let’s started to know what inside this digital camera.

On the bottom camera you will find an place to put 2x AA battery and MMC-Card. Battery life is suck, when I tested it 2x new AA Alkaline battery I just can take 500 shoot then camera die. Trust me, go buy an rechargeable NIMH battery this is really recommended.

On the front camera you will find lens and flash. Samsung ES10 using 8.1 megapixel lens. On the top camera you will find power button and shoot button to take pictures or start to capture video. On the left camera there is an mini-USB slot and place to used tail accessories. Nothing really special in here so let’s moving to the next.

On the back camera there is LCD and navigation button. Samsung Es10 claim they used intelligent LCD, I’m still not get what’s that mean since it’s look similar with another digital camera LCD *lol*. Navigation button is zoom-in and zoom out, menu button, left-right-up-down and go button, Flash, auto-focus, panorama effect, And the last button is gallery and FN button (used to deleted or cancel action).

On the menu you can choose to set what mode this digital camera should be, It can be used to take pictures or recording movie with sound. On function menu there is face detection technology which will focus on smile when detected. Set photo size (megapixel), Photo quality such as fine and super fine quality, Focus area and voice.

On Sound menu you can set volume for each action such as shutter etc. Display menu just like setting for your Samsung ES10 digital camera it contains configuration for appearance and power save function. On Setting menu just same like display menu.

That’s it my short review for Samsung ES10 digital camera, I would give score 6.8 from 10 for this Samsung ES10. It is worth to but this digital camera? Hmm, I think it’s worth… since price is under $100 and you got almost all standard digital camera needed this day. So… buy it! haha..

The Canon A460 sports a Canon-branded 4x optical zoom lens along with an increasingly rare optical zoom viewfinder.

With an equivalent focal length of 38-152mm the Canon A460 has a little more zoom than most cameras, and a maximum aperture that varies with focal length from f/2.8 at wide angle to a rather dim f/5.8 at telephoto. Its autofocusing is done with an intelligent 5-point system, and its ISO sensitivity goes up to 400. It has three metering modes, seven white balance modes, and nine scene modes.

The Canon A460 offers a 10 frames-per-second VGA video mode with.. sound in AVI (Motion JPEG) format, and supports SDHC as well as SD/MMC memory cards. The PowerShot A460 is powered by two AA batteries, and interfaces include USB 1.1 and A/V (NTSC or PAL) connections.
