Last week ago I was hunting in some online store to find a new digital camera for myself. I’m looking for digital camera under $100 (just used to write review only, not pro). After research I’m interesting with Samsung ES10 black, It’s looks like an elegant digital camera so I try to buy It.

After 2 days waiting this package coming to my home. I start to open the box to know what inside this package. I got manual book, Samsung ES10 cd driver, warranty card, data cable, 2x AA battery, and of course Samsung ES10 digital camera. Where is my MMC bonus?

When first time I touch this digital camera on my hand an “elegant” idea coming to my mind. Yup, it’s good looking camera with black color, I love it! (don’t know why I love black color gadget haha)

Samsung ES10 is standard digital camera. Since I’m not professional I think this device enough for me to take some pictures around me *lol*. Let’s started to know what inside this digital camera.

On the bottom camera you will find an place to put 2x AA battery and MMC-Card. Battery life is suck, when I tested it 2x new AA Alkaline battery I just can take 500 shoot then camera die. Trust me, go buy an rechargeable NIMH battery this is really recommended.

On the front camera you will find lens and flash. Samsung ES10 using 8.1 megapixel lens. On the top camera you will find power button and shoot button to take pictures or start to capture video. On the left camera there is an mini-USB slot and place to used tail accessories. Nothing really special in here so let’s moving to the next.

On the back camera there is LCD and navigation button. Samsung Es10 claim they used intelligent LCD, I’m still not get what’s that mean since it’s look similar with another digital camera LCD *lol*. Navigation button is zoom-in and zoom out, menu button, left-right-up-down and go button, Flash, auto-focus, panorama effect, And the last button is gallery and FN button (used to deleted or cancel action).

On the menu you can choose to set what mode this digital camera should be, It can be used to take pictures or recording movie with sound. On function menu there is face detection technology which will focus on smile when detected. Set photo size (megapixel), Photo quality such as fine and super fine quality, Focus area and voice.

On Sound menu you can set volume for each action such as shutter etc. Display menu just like setting for your Samsung ES10 digital camera it contains configuration for appearance and power save function. On Setting menu just same like display menu.

That’s it my short review for Samsung ES10 digital camera, I would give score 6.8 from 10 for this Samsung ES10. It is worth to but this digital camera? Hmm, I think it’s worth… since price is under $100 and you got almost all standard digital camera needed this day. So… buy it! haha..

After producing the series of SGH-i300 that uses OS Windows Mobile for the domestic market, currently was present the series of SGH-i600, that also used OS that was same. However this new series, has been supplied new technology that was more complete and better. Including the network 3G and HSDPA. By vendor SGH-i600 was given by the nickname black Jack. With provisions of high multimedia of the application capacity, SGH-i600 entered the group smart messaging device.

DESIGN, SGH -i600 was present with the concept qwerty pad, that was clear was allocated for the ease of text typing, the email et cetera. Despite, the switch qwerty pad was compiled rather close, so as to need the adaptation of some time before smooth used. And the attendance qwerty pad also brought the consequences of the measurement body the wide cellular phone.

But don’t worry, body that was wide that did not bring the problem when being used. We continued to be able to operate the cellular phone with one hand. Despite, stayed more comfortable when operating the switch with two hands. Possibly not rather comfortable when being stuck on ears, when did voice call, as well as not more just right also if you tried to keep him in the pocket of trousers.

THIN, i600 continued to bring the family’s Ultra Edition accent, that was famous with thin. The smart cellular phone impression that usually sticky with body that was thick and big, was not encountered in this cellular phone, that had body tight. Indeed appear at first glance resembled E61 Nokia or Blackberry 8707v. However the black color dominant as well as the design body that was typical, as well as the weight that was minor for the measurement smartphone (105 gram), became the distinguishing feature with two cellular phones. SGH-i600 had the dimension 113 x 59 x 11,8 mm and heavy 105 gram.

SCREEN, Once more that was appropriate lined supervised was his screen that was wide. Measuring 46 x 36 mm, could accommodate five lines the text, but his one line could be so long. His screen only used the TFT kind 65 thousand colors, but Samsung reliability in the matter of technology screen, did not need to be made again hesitate. Like available in i600, his screen was so sharp and clear.

OFFICE, Begun with the use of the Windows Mobile operation system the series 5,0 to smartphone. Designing the typical Windows menu, that could be put forward with list or grid, really facilitated for the menu exploration.

Now the matter of the office application. This cellular phone had what was named picsel viewer. This application was useful to open and read various file with the format word, excel, power point and PDF. So, we remained kept files this in the cellular phone memory, then was used to carry out the presentation. Unfortunately, picsel viewer did not enable did editing or made the document new. Only was limited was opened and read then.

NAVIGATION, The menu was facilitated with two choices of the switch. Through navigation key four available directions below screen, or through wheel button available on the side body the cellular phone. Wheel button this, when being pressed, functioned also as the switch select. If only was touch screen, definitely more again fascinating.

PUSH EMAIL and INTERNET, Support to mobile office other was facilities push the email, that enabled us got alert the email that entered, like to Blackberry. And that was clear, owing to the attendance of the network 3G and HSDPA, surfing the internet became more comfortable, despite coverage available still was limited. Or, if by chance was in the hotspot area, also could carry out the connection with Wi-Fi, that in the test, moderate satisfactory.

MUSIC, After Office application, i600 also was supplied with the standard of other multimedia. Mentioned for example, music player that could play various formats file (including WMA, MP3, AAC+, OGG, ASF).

CAMERA, The camera is 1.3 Mpix, could be used to photograph and record a video. But the matter of the quality of the voice his music just so-so, and also was not equipped equalizer to maximize the quality of the voice. Was not the matter, this cellular phone indeed more was allocated for mobile office, compared with mobile entertainment.

MEMORY, SGH -i600 had the CREAM capacity 128 MB and RAM 64 of MB. Memory was still being increased with the Micro SD. The capacity Micro SD card support that the ray was used through to 1 GB.

RSS READER, This application was beneficial enough for them who must know the development of the news or warmest rumors. With RSS (rich site summery) Reader, in a manner continued us could get the summary or the headlines from various sites of the news and always in-up date automatically. As the note, the site that could in-list also had the RSS version.

PICSEL VIEWER, This application indeed really helped to check the document (word, excel, power point, PDF), when we were being apart from the office. The colleague in the office could send file the document through the email, and afterward was opened in the cellular phone.

BATTERY, Samsung i600 was supplied with the battery power of 1200 mAh with the battery type lithium the ion. Energy provisions as big as that, this series could be used to speak stopped till 6.5 hours, and alert time till 305 hours.

RESULT, the achievement i600 could be relied on. Especially for mobile office. Application worked perfect, without many hindrances. Despite, we could not edit file the available document. So also when being used for the video call, took place just very smooth. The quality of the voice during voice call also good. But the quality of the voice music, just so-so. Might also chose the cellular phone of one this as supporting equipment of the work in a mobile manner.
